End of Year Check-In: 2025

Still here. Just been building.

If you've noticed the silence on this blog — yeah, I noticed too. I didn't disappear. My focus was on life, relationships, building software. There's a difference.

What Happened This Year

Back in the summer I quietly started building software. That wasn't the beginning of the work — it was just when I finally made it real enough to take seriously. The real work started earlier, figuring out what I wanted to build and whether I could actually pull it off.

The answer so far: yes, I can.

Several projects are in the pipeline. Not ideas — actual things being built. Some are closer to launch than others. But they're all real, here to solve real problems.

The rest of the year was spent helping elderly friends and family. Eating great food, traveling, planning my next moves and movies.

What I Didn't Do

I didn't post here much. I didn't update the world every week. Some things you build in private first, then show the world when they're ready to be seen.

I'm anti-social with my media. But when I'm not...take heed.

This blog was always going to be sporadic. I'm not a content machine.

I'm a builder, a dreamer, who occasionally writes.

What's Coming

2026 is going to be a different kind of year. The building phase doesn't stop — but launches start happening. The first one is close.
